The Smart-Pump is reusable, unlike CO2 canisters which are disposable therefore it is more cost effective over the longer term. CO2 inflated tires also lose pressure faster than those inflated with air and it is much more difficult to adjust the pressure accurately as and when required.
This is something we get asked a lot and the answer is yes. But most airlines require it to be stored in hand luggage. The majority allow products under 100 Watt-hours, the pump measures 31.2Wh. Wh is calculated by multiplying the number of Amps with the battery voltage.
